Unit Description

The unit circle is the foundation of trigonometry.  You will use everything learned during this unit to complete all the remaining units this semester.  The unit circle is a circle with a center at the origin and a radius of.  During this unit you will learn how to create the unit circle using patterns, trig ratios, and special right triangles.

Unit Objectives

1.  To find the common angles of 30, 45, 60, 90 degrees around the unit circle with their corresponding order pair values.

2.  To find the radian measures of the unit circle.  To relate radian measures to the degrees of the unit circle.
